The primary objective of physical therapy is to maintain or regain maximum physical capacity, restore function, and relieve pain in those individuals with musculoskeletal disorders.

Appointments
Scheduling and Appointment
To schedule an appointment call (301) 619-7175. All patients must have a physical therapy referral. Consults or referrals greater than 30 days old will not be honored and will require renewal by the referring provider.
Treatment appointment frequency will be determined by your physical therapist. A follow up with your physical therapist is required every 30 days while you are receiving treatments in our facility.
For Your Appointment
If you are coming for an initial evaluation or a follow up, please arrive 5-10 minutes early. If you are more than 10 minutes late for a scheduled appointment, your appointment will be rescheduled.
For all appointments (initial evaluation, follow up, and treatment), please wear appropriate clothing.
Children are not allowed in the treatment area and must be accompanied by an adult in the waiting area; if this is not possible the appointment may be rescheduled.
Physical Therapist Scope of Practice
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries across the full spectrum of evidence-based practice
- Consult with other providers on musculoskeletal patient management and disposition
- Conduct clinically relevant research
- Optimize Soldier / Unit readiness by enhancing functional/human performance
